Does this service cost students anything?
No. There are no hidden fees, subscription charges, or credit card requirements. Participating schools compensate us for connecting qualified prospective students.
Are the schools accredited?
Absolutely. We only work with regionally and nationally accredited colleges and universities in the United States. Accreditation ensures your degree is recognized by employers and other institutions.
How is my personal information protected?
We use multiple security layers including CSRF token validation, server-side input sanitization, prepared SQL statements, rate limiting, honeypot bot detection, secure HTTP headers, and encrypted sessions. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Will I receive spam calls or emails?
By submitting the form and checking the consent box, you agree to be contacted by Search My Degree Online, Education Dane, and participating schools via phone, text, or email. You can revoke consent at any time. We comply with TCPA regulations for U.S. communications.
Can I study online or do I need to attend campus?
Both options are available! Many partner schools offer fully online programs, hybrid formats, and traditional on-campus experiences. Your matches will depend on your state and program preferences.
What if I already have some college credits?
Many schools accept transfer credits from previous institutions. When you speak with an admissions advisor, ask about their transfer credit evaluation process. Your existing credits may shorten your time to graduation.
Am I obligated to enroll after getting matched?
No. There is zero obligation to enroll at any school. The matching service is designed to help you explore options and make an informed decision at your own pace.
Which states do you serve?
We serve students in all 50 U.S. states plus Washington, D.C. Program availability may vary by state due to individual school authorization requirements.
How long does the matching process take?
After submitting your form, you typically hear from matched schools within 24–48 hours. Some students receive contact the same day during business hours.
